Critics praised the acting and atmosphere, especially the performances by Joe Freeman and Ben Barnes. The music and visuals were also appreciated. However, some felt the story was too slow and lacked emotional tension. The series was compared to Stranger Things and Dark, but didn’t reach the same level of excitement. Still, it offers a thoughtful and eerie experience for fans of psychological horror.
